Getting Here
Driving Instructions
Please make your way to Thames on the Coromandel Peninsula. You will drive the famous coast road to Coromandel Town. This is where we highly recommend that you stay the night before your first day of walking.
From Coromandel Town it is a scenic 30 minutes to Colville Village where you will meet the shuttle at 9.30am on the first day of your walk. The meeting point is at Hike and Bike, 76 Wharf Road. There is only Vodafone coverage in Colville so please don’t rely on phone maps to get here once in Colville.
From Auckland, Hamilton or Tauranga please allow a minimum of 3 hours to get to Colville. From Thames allow 1.5 hours.
Flying
The closest airport to us is Auckland airport. From here you can hire a car or get a ride with a friend.
