Pahi Coastal Walk circumnavigates the northern tip of the Coromandel Peninsula over three days and two nights, crossing private farmland, native bush and coastal track with a view of the sea for almost the whole way.
Only moderate fitness is required, and you're welcome to walk at your own pace. We'll transport your pack between each night's accommodation, so you only need to carry a light day pack on the trail.
Your Journey
Day One
Meet the shuttle bus in Colville at 8.45am for the drive to Pahi Station, Port Jackson. After a homemade morning tea, set off across rolling farmland and native bush to a high point of 550m, with views back to Auckland and Waiheke, before descending along the river to Pahi Retreat, your home for the night.

Choose the 12km route or the longer 19km option, which climbs to the highest point of the walk at 600m. The 19km route passes the Shepherd's Hut and Maloney's Beach under the Pinnacles, while the 12km route walks the ridges back to Port Jackson beach — both finishing at your home for night two, the Shearers' Quarters at Port Jackson.

Ease into your final day with either a shorter farm walk, a relaxed morning at the beach or river, or hire an e-Bike adventure and ride your way back to Colville on two wheels. If you choose not to bike, the shuttle has you back in Colville around midday.
